1. Sometimes I think of plots for Doctor Who. Here’s one:

The Doctor and his companion(s) go to the Library of Alexandria just before it was burnt, steal as many books, scrolls, and other documents as they can get their hands on, stuff them in the Tardis, and take them to a future Earth, depositing the volumes (secretly and after hours, of course) in the British Museum. There could be some sort of race-against-time factor to the plot — maybe there’s a villainous collector with his own time machine who plans to loot the Library himself but only so he can keep the books for his own selfish selfishness or… I know, he can plan to hold them for ransom until the future Earth government pays him a million quatloos, or something. The Doctor is in a race against time to get to the Library before the villain and his henchmen do!

Stephen Moffat should totally get on this. I’m tired of Doctor-in-love stories and Doctor-comforts-sad-child stories; let’s see him do something useful. Amirite?
