Please tell me this is just a symptom of my virus
I open my Tumblr dash after being at work all day and what do I see but a bunch of stuff about ROES and the Doctor and… the Master? And none of it is “the Master shoots ROES with his laser…um (okay okay! stop hitting me), and she’s not killed but she does have almost complete amnesia about her and the Doctor traveling in time ‘n’ space and she marries Mickey and raises their kids to stories of “this funny old fellow I used to know, called himself the Doctor, lived in a phone booth,” and after being mad for a while (because he doesn’t like that companion-amnesia crap) the Doctor of course forgives the Master who vows to be, er, not evil 24/7 but to let the Doctor stop him every now and then as long as they get together to make sweet sweet…
But none of the ROES and the Doctor and the Master stories are like that they’re all “ROES is so important that even the Master wuvs her!” Gah!
